The main focus of this topic in this forum should be about getting started at a career in medical transcription. For someone interested in learning about this field, the sheer amount of information (sometimes conflicting) on the web can often be overwhelming. This can discourage people from pursuing the matter any further, which is a shame. I hope this forum will be able to help point people who are just getting started in the right direction, if they need help. If you're new to the website and have a question, please don't hesitate to ask.

To start the career as a medical transcription professional, we don't require much educational qualifications but the basics in each sector of education must be strong for a student. The basics of english grammar and listening and writing skills should be good.
